Photographing my sister-in-law’s Asian salad

My sister-in-law is from the Philippines. We went to my brother’s birthday party and she made Asian salad. Not only was it tasty, it had a cool look to it. My wife and I brought some home with us and I decided to photograph it! I just used natural, indoor lighting for this one. It looks so good because of the 50mm prime lens I used. I set my aperture all the way up to f/3.5 and started shooting. I used our bamboo cutting board because if you want to make something look fresh and delicious, use bamboo. I also draped some salad off the glass bowl too. It’s little touches like that, that makes your photos look even better!
